GeoAcuity and USC ICT participate in Five Eyes AI Strategic Challenge in Jervis Bay, Australia

October 20th, 2023 - GeoAcuity and partner USC Institute for Creative Technologies (USC ICT) traveled to Jervis Bay, Australia to participate in the Artificial Intelligence Strategic Challenge; a Five Eyes (FVEY) gathering of science and technology researchers and practitioners from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States testing the use of Artificial Intelligence for operational planning. As a member of the AI for Operational Planning event, the team utilized semi-autonomous sUAS aerial imagery capture and photogrammetric routines to rapidly produce highly accurate geospatial information in both 2D and 3D across numerous areas of interest for integration into FVEY operational support software.
