GeoAcuity and USC ICT Collaborate with Stakeholders on Geospatial Solutions for Public Safety

GeoAcuity CEO Jason Knowles and GIS Developer Will Forker and partners USC Institute for Creative Technologies met with stakeholders including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Los Angeles City Mayor's Office, Exposition Park, the U.S. Secret Service and the USC Department of Public Safety to discuss applications of high-resolution geospatial data and 3D modeling for public safety. The meeting was productive with capability demonstrations of both existing geospatial technology as well as exciting upcoming and groundbreaking research being done by USC ICT and GeoAcuity in the geospatial domain. We are looking forward to continued collaboration with our partners across the federal and municipal sectors supporting geospatial solutions to enhance planning and safety in the public sector.
